Property Ledger Mobile Privacy Policy

Effective October 13, 2026

Property Ledger Mobile is designed to keep your property information under your control. The app does not require an account with My First Home Inc., does not use advertising or cross-app tracking, and stores records locally on your iPhone or iPad by default.

1. Information you add

The app stores information you choose to enter, such as property addresses, units, values, mortgages, insurance, expenses, rent, payment history, tenants, contacts, leases, notes, and reminders.

It can also store property pictures, receipts, PDFs, email attachments, imported documents, recognized text, and backups that you choose to create. Some of this information can be sensitive. Add only information you are authorized to keep and protect it appropriately.

The app also stores preferences such as your chosen appearance, whether the welcome tutorial was completed or skipped, iCloud choices, and whether optional App Lock is enabled.

Photo and video display names, dates, tags, and notes are stored alongside the files. The app also stores currency settings, conversion history, sale-analysis assumptions and device-local backup results, including dates, scope and error information.

Build 8 checks available device storage before copying media. These storage checks stay on the device and are not sent to My First Home Inc.

2. Where your information is stored

Your information is stored locally in the app on your device by default. My First Home Inc. does not operate a server that receives your property records and cannot view or recover records that remain only on your device.

If you enable iCloud record sync, supported structured records are stored in the private CloudKit database associated with your Apple Account and can sync between your own compatible iPhones and iPads signed in to the same Apple Account. The current Mac App Store version is not connected.

Pictures and imported documents are separate from structured-record sync. A document is backed up to your private iCloud only when you use its iCloud document-backup or folder-sync option.

3. Apple services

The app uses Apple system services. iCloud and CloudKit provide optional private syncing and backup. Apple Maps and geocoding may receive a property address when you search for an address or display a property on the map.

Apple processes App Store downloads and any App Store purchase. The app and My First Home Inc. do not receive your payment-card details. Apple’s handling of information is governed by Apple’s privacy policy and your Apple Account settings.

Currency rates

If you request an online currency quote, the app contacts ExchangeRate-API. The provider receives the requested base currency and ordinary connection information such as your IP address. The app does not send property records, tenant information or recorded amounts in that request. You can enter the exchange rate manually instead. Currency changes create a local safety backup, which may retain earlier records.

4. Camera, photos, and text recognition

Camera and photo access is used only when you choose to photograph or select a property image, receipt, or document.

Receipt and document text recognition is performed on the device using Apple technology. The app may suggest a date, amount, vendor, document type, or category. Review every suggestion before saving because automatic recognition can be incomplete or inaccurate.

5. Files from Mail and other apps

When you choose to open or share a PDF, picture, or other supported file with Property Ledger, the app copies that file into its local storage. You can assign the copy to a property immediately or leave it in Unassigned Imports for later review.

The original remains in Mail, Files, or the source app. Deleting one copy does not automatically delete other copies.

6. Sharing, exports, and backups

The app does not make your records public. Information leaves the app when you choose to export, share, print, save a backup, open a file in another app, or enable an optional iCloud feature.

Portable backups and exports may contain property, tenant, and financial information. Store them carefully. Once you transfer information to another person, service, device, or app, that recipient’s terms and privacy practices may apply.

7. Tracking, advertising, and analytics

The app does not contain third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics. My First Home Inc. does not sell or rent your property or tenant information and does not use it to train an artificial-intelligence model.

8. Your choices and deletion

You may use the app with local storage only, leave iCloud record sync off, and decline iCloud document backup.

You can delete properties and related records from within the app, use Undo Changes for the latest 20 saved changes, remove the app to remove its local app data, and manage the app’s iCloud data through your Apple Account and iCloud settings.

A document removed locally may still exist in a portable backup, an exported copy, another app, another device, or an earlier iCloud document backup. Delete those copies separately where they are stored.

Deleted structured records can remain in the app’s latest 20 undo snapshots until those snapshots are replaced by later changes. Exported copies, device backups, and optional iCloud copies have their own retention and deletion controls.

In builds with Recently Deleted, photos and videos moved there remain recoverable locally for 30 days. Expired items are removed when the app opens or is active; iOS does not guarantee cleanup while the app is closed. Permanent deletion removes the app’s local copy, not the original Photos-library item or separate backup copies.

Starting with build 8, ordinary document backup does not download files missing locally. The separate Restore Missing Files from iCloud action asks for confirmation and may recover cloud copies previously deleted locally. Recently Deleted is not included in the property’s cloud document backup. Other devices and earlier versions may behave differently.

Records-backup creation produces a temporary local file. Save it elsewhere using Share → Save to Files. The app records creation success, but cannot confirm the final destination or completion of a share. Documents and media need a separate Portfolio Library export.

9. App Lock and security

The app relies on Apple’s app sandbox, device security, and private iCloud protections. Keep your iPhone passcode and Apple Account secure, install operating-system updates, and store exported backups carefully.

App Lock is optional. If you enable it, the app passcode is stored with device-only protection in your iPhone’s Keychain. It is not included in Property Ledger backups or iCloud sync. My First Home Inc. cannot view or recover it.

If you enable Face ID or Touch ID, authentication is performed by iOS. Property Ledger receives only the authentication result and does not receive or store your face image, Face ID template, or other biometric data. Your app passcode remains available as a fallback.

No storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Security also depends on your device, Apple Account, passwords, backup locations, and control over files you export or share.

10. Children

Property Ledger Mobile is a property-management tool and is not directed to children under 13. Do not enter information about a minor unless it is necessary, lawful, and appropriately protected.

11. Support information

If you contact us for support, we may receive your name, email address, message, diagnostic details, or attachments that you voluntarily provide. We use that information to respond, investigate the issue, maintain security, or meet a legal obligation.

Do not send tenant identity documents, banking records, passwords, or other sensitive information. Use fictional or redacted examples whenever possible.

This public website provides product information and help. It does not display your app library or receive your property records through a sign-in form. The website host processes ordinary request information, such as IP address, requested page, and browser details, to deliver and protect the site. Opening an email support link uses your email provider.

12. Changes and contact

This policy may be updated when the app’s features or privacy practices change. The updated date will appear at the top of this page.
