PROPERTY LEDGER MOBILE — QUICK START My First Home Inc. | Updated October 11, 2026 START WITH ONE PROPERTY 1. Follow the welcome tutorial or choose Skip. Reopen it later under More → Tutorial. 2. Open Properties and tap +. Search for the address and review the suggestions. 3. Save what you know. Open the property later to add missing details, financing, insurance, expenses, documents, or a cover picture. 4. Configure and name the units. A multi-unit building remains one property. ADD TENANTS AND RECORD RENT 1. Open People or the property record and choose the property and unit. 2. Enter the tenant names, contact details, lease dates, rent, and deposits. 3. Open Rent and review the correct month. Record the full amount or the amount actually received as a component payment. 4. Review Past Due and Relevant Alerts. Check the remaining balance and the month shown. 5. When a tenancy ends, record its move-out date and retain the previous tenant's records. SAVE RECEIPTS AND DOCUMENTS 1. Use Capture Receipt to take a picture or choose an existing image. 2. Verify the suggested date, amount, property, and category before saving. 3. From Mail or Files, choose Share or Open In and select Property Ledger when available. You can also save the attachment to Files and import it using Documents & OCR. 4. Assign the copied file to the property, tenant, and document category. 5. Find unassigned copies under More → Unassigned Imports. REVIEW MONTHLY PERFORMANCE Overview → Performance lists operating income, expenses, and NOI separately for each month in the selected period. Change the property, ownership, or reporting-period filter as needed. Rent uses the payment's received date. Financing costs, principal, deposits, capital purchases, and shareholder transfers are excluded from NOI. A month without records shows Not available. PREPARE RECORDS FOR YOUR ACCOUNTANT More → Accountant Export lets you choose the legal owner, properties, and reporting dates. Review the completion checklist and preview before exporting PDF, Excel, CSV, or a ZIP with supporting documents. This is a record summary for professional review, not a filed tax return or a tax-treatment decision. PROTECT AND BACK UP YOUR INFORMATION 1. Use your iPhone's passcode and protect your Apple Account. 2. More → App Lock offers an optional app passcode and Face ID. Keep the app passcode safe; the developer cannot recover it. 3. More → Backup & Restore creates a structured-record backup with optional password protection. 4. On the same page, use Export Portfolio Library for imported documents and pictures. Keep both backup parts. 5. Save exported files in a secure location. Files → iCloud Drive is one option if enabled. 6. More → Undo Changes retains the latest 20 saved changes. Restoring an older snapshot reverses subsequent changes too. CHOOSE YOUR ICLOUD OPTIONS Local storage is the default. More → iCloud Sync is optional for supported structured records on compatible iPhones signed in to the same Apple Account. Documents and pictures have separate private iCloud backup controls. The current Mac App Store version is not connected.
